I don't know which one is better, the cinnamon or the orange. They are both awesome!! You be the judge.
Lay your crescent rolls out on a cookie sheet and spread with the butter mixture.
Roll up and seal the ends as good as you can. Some of the mixture will melt out but thats okay.
Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes.
Orange Crescent Rolls
1 can crescent rolls
4 Tbsp butter softened
1/2 cup sugar
Zest of one orange. Reserve about a third of it for the glaze.
Heat oven to 350. Stir together soft butter, sugar and zest until combined.
Separate crescent rolls and lay out on a ungreased cookie sheet. Spread an equal amount of the sugar butter mixture on each crescent. Roll up starting at the wide end. Try to pinch the ends to seal. Some of the mixture will melt out.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or golden brown. Let cool slightly then remove from pan and drizzle the glaze over them.
Glaze:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon butter softened
Reserved orange zest
YUM.... none of those rolls are on my 'diet' now---but I'd love all of them. The orange ones look so good.... Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteOh Pearl, you sure do know how to make a gal hungry. You are not making it easy for all those people who have added the word 'diet' to their New Years resolutions. LOL! They look so yummy.
